MONKEY, FIREFLY AND THE HUMMING BIRD

It was a very cold night. Ice cold.

A huge Monkey was shivering in that cold, sitting on a big tree.. He was getting no sleep.

He looked around  searching for something to help him get rid of the cold.

He saw a fire fly passing by him.

He simply caught it in his hand. Then he seemed to get some idea.

With the other hand he plucked some dry leaves of the tree. He carefully kept the fire fly covered by the dry leaves.

He began to blow air into the fire fly covered by dry leaves. He thought he can make fire like that and get rid of the cold.

"Ku  ko  ko kko.......fire fly is not fire.....Ku ko ko kko....."  A talk shivering with cold, dense with innocent joy of seeing something funny.

Now the Monkey also realised his foolishness.  He looked around. Saw the small bird just a branch above him still laughing at his foolishness. He threw away the fire fly and the dry leaves.

Then jumping up and catching the small humming bird and tearing it  to pieces, the Monkey thundered:

"HAVE YOU GROWN ENOUGH TO ADVISE ME??!!"

The poor bird...............
